Luckily I made plenty to fund gear for this but some of my other friends didn’t have time and bought bonds to buy similar gear I have which makes it more fun to do because we can do long trips. I played back in 2005/2006 and I liked the adventure of the game but also I acknowledge I work 60-80 hours a week and have a family so I really only was grinding during quarantine but now that we are back in the office…etc I play maybe 1-2 hours a week and if I didn’t have that grind time I would probably think about buying bonds to fund just basic bossing gear because my rs time is not just sitting at bandos with friends over a call and chilling once or twice a week. add the bond to your purchase, then remove the membership. at the bottom there is something called 'frequently bought together', one of the options there is a bond. then you select 1 month membership and continue to checkout. Start runescape and click the membership-button in the lobby. I think the main gold buyers are using it to fund pvm and not pvp therefore not giving anyone a distinct advantage in a player vs player scenario therefore not directly impacting gameplay for anyone else. I buy bonds through steam, its not a big deal. I just try not to compare myself to other players because there will always be someone with better gear. Personally I wouldn’t get enjoyment out of buying accomplishments but if others don’t lose the enjoyment and prefer getting gear to go kill a boss for fun with friends than that’s fine too. I mean I look at it as if others buy gold I don’t really care because it’s however they want to have fun.
