they’re different now, more mature, more committed. out of the blue, the one person you swore to never think about again, your ex, shows up in right in front of you. you enter a successful career, work your way to a successful life, and balance a very minimal social life on the side. you graduate, pack your bags, and head to the city, swearing to never look back.Īnd for a while, life is everything you planned it would be. you have your ambitions high, and your plans set and you aren’t willing to give that up on anything, even the love of your life. while your partner wants a carefree life, living every day on a whim, you’ve had your life planned out since day one. the issue is you have very different wants out of life.

You fall in love with a musician in college and dream of spending the rest of your lives together. you’ll go to college, graduate with an honors degree, move to the city, get a job as a tech guru, and excel in your field.

you have your life all planned out by high school. ever since you were a kid, you were more reclusive than others, preferring the company of yourself and your big dreams above anyone else. You could always respect your parents’ and their humble, quirky ways, but it was never you. “hey there delilah, what’s it like in new york city? i’m a thousand miles away, but girl tonight you look so pretty.” visit the flea market whenever it comes into town.master painting, cross-stitching, and knitting skills.start off homeless (or at least in a very inexpensive home) with no more than 1,000 simoleons.unfortunately, the world and the industry aren’t too kind to you, but nothing can tarnish your spirit (you’re lowkey a manic pixie dream girl oops) you’re an out-of-the-box designer and always make sure that your own style reflects that. you paint, cross-stich, knit, and might even pick up an instrument from time to time, but your real passion lies in fashion. so, you set out into the world with nothing but a paintbrush, some fabric and a dream.

but you’ve never been bothered by what other people think. you don’t have much money, you really have no clue what you want to do in life, and most people are put off by your eccentric attitude. “she ain’t got no money, her clothes are kinda funny, her hair is kinda wild and free” Please tag me if you do this and use #itgirlslegacy because i’d love to see what you make of it! this is my first time designing a challenge for ts4 and my first post in the community, so feedback if very much appreciated! besides that, the rules don’t differ from any other standard legacy challenge. this challenge takes inspiration from 9 different it girls and each generation is based on one of them. jolene, hey there delilah, come on eileen, etc.). If you’re unaware, the music it girls refer to songs which sing about a specific girl by name (ex. except this time it’s themed around the music it girls! this challenge is similar to challenges like nsb, ditft, etc. Echoes from Babyface's past - samples of the tender lover's own "Whip Appeal" and "Soon as I Get Home," and Tevin Campbell's "Can We Talk" - are integrated in clever, subtle fashion.I decided to create my own themed legacy challenge for the sims 4. Production-wise, Babyface splits duties with an assortment of collaborators including D'Mile, Khris Riddick-Tynes, and Sir Dylan (son of Tony! Toni! Toné!'s Dwayne Wiggins, and onetime Kehlani bandmate). Unsurprisingly, those who have either directly referenced or evoked '80s and '90s R&B - especially Ella Mai, Muni Long, and Kehlani - turn out to be most compatible. Most of these songs would be fine deep cuts on LPs by Babyface's guests. Each song was written and recorded in a day, and since the women are always at the fore, the set comes across as a method for Babyface to adapt to writing and producing for considerably younger artists, and as a way to put himself out there to continue collaborating with that generation. It all plays out like an experiment or exercise rather than a proper album.

Although the rotational co-headliner nature of the album might bring to mind Lucky Daye's Table for Two - a Grammy-winning recording that happens to feature a few of the singers on-board here - it's quite different, not strictly duets, with Babyface most often in a supporting role. For his first album since 2015's Return of the Tender Lover, Babyface pairs up with established and emergent contemporary R&B artists, all of whom are women younger than his first solo hit.
